The unit is available in both cross-flow
and counter-flow configurations and works on the principle
that two or more adjacent plates form a channel either for
supply or return air. The supply air passes on one side of
the plates and the return on the other side. Heat is transferred
by thermal conductivity through the plates from the warmer
airstream to the colder. The units are available for air volumes
up to 200,000 m3/hr.
Our plate heat exchangers are a highly efficient, top-quality
heat recovery unit and because of modern high volume automated
production are very cost-effective. They are suited to the
OEM user such as air handling or air conditioning unit manufacturers
and are available in sizes to suit just about any design.
The units are manufactured from high-grade aluminium alloy
or stainless steel, which can be coated for added corrosion
